Last week, a list on the official website of the MWC 2018 confirmed that Xiaomi Mi 7 will participate in the annual Expo. Cue a wave of leaks around Xiaomi the upcoming smartphones. The Chinese company is widely expected to take the wrapper from its next flagship smartphone at the Expo, and a leak now shows what the Mi 7 could be like.

A supposed impression of Xiaomi Mi 7 emerged online showing its front and rear sides. Spotted by Techlector, the overall design seen in render is quite reminiscent of the Xiaomi MI Mix 2. Very surprisingly, Xiaomi MI is opting for the bezel-less design language, but we have to admit that the MI 7 looks better than MI mix 2. That said, with such early pressure, it is advisable to take with the proverbial pinch of salt.

The rear panel design is pretty minimal with only dual camera layouts, LED Flash, fingerprint sensor, and my logo seen. A previous filtration mentioned that the back panel will be boxed into the glass, which could be a runway towards a possible wireless charging function.

The front is dominated by the screen, which extends to all angles. The smartphone is rumored to boast a 6-inch AMOLED screen produced by Samsung. The upper bezel is a little thicker than the rest, which is why it is likely to host the headset, sensors, and auto-camera.

Based on what we've found so far, Xiaomi Mi 7 will certainly be powered by the newest Dragon 845 SoC by Qualcomm. That means, Xiaomi Mi 7 smartphone will join the likes of Samsung Galaxy S9, Sony Xperia XZ Pro, and LG G7 on the latest QUALCOMM chipset.

Samsung-CF791__.jpg

As well as currently being functional, the Samsung CF791 is also atractive. Its super-thin bezels produce the physical screen the issue of your focus. The front panel is not taken up with buttons, with Samsung choosing to use a joystick at the rear of the display for navigating menus.

The stand doesn’t require a lot of space, but offers you tilt and swivel, with a 100mm height range adjustment. In other words, it’s simple enough to get this monitor into a pleasant viewing position. If you’d rather wall-mount it or use an alternative desk stand, the CF791 ships with a VESA-mount plate, which you fit by unscrewing the supplied desktop stand. It required us a few mins to get the CF791 attached to our wall mount.

The HDMI ports arrive pre-configured in HDMI 1.4 mode, so if you want to use the display at its full resolution using these types of connectors, you need to set them to HDMI 2.0. The DisplayPort input comes set as 1.2,even though you can downgrade it to a 1.1 connection if necessary.
We used DisplayPort 1.2, as it’s the ideal choice for a desktop PC. Running at the full 3,440x1,440 resolution, the Windows desktop looked fantastic, giving us plenty of space for two apps side by side. We discovered that text was big enough, but you can use Windows 10’s scaling alternatives to make text larger if you’re struggling to see what’s going on.With this much resolution on offer, the monitor’s picture-in-picture (PIP) and picture-by-picture (PBP) modes come into their own, allowing you run two devices at the same moment. The display is also exceptionally equally lit up. On average, the screen only varied by around 5cd/m2, which is outstanding.

Here are a few tips to protect your car against the hazards of summer.

Oil-Cars are more likely to overheat in the summer. But it’s not just the hot temperatures that cause overheating. Heavy driving can also cause your engine to overheat. Prepare for hot days and long trips by giving your car a thorough systems check. An oil check is a good place to start. If the oil is a dark colour or there’s a lot of dirt and grime present, it’s time for an oil change and filter replacement. Many technicians recommend an oil change every 5,000km.

Fluid levels-Fill coolant, transmission, differential, power steering and brake fluids to suggested levels. During the summer, coolant should be added as a 50/50 mixture of antifreeze and water. It’s not a bad idea to look under your car for any fluids that may be dripping. If you see any, there’s a good chance you have a leak. A reputable service station will tell you what’s wrong and give you an estimate for repair.

In stark contrast to most smartwatches, the Samsung Gear S3 has great battery life: charge it to 100% and it’ll last you almost five days. The first four days with normal operation and then, when it hits 5%, more than 24 hours of use in power-save mode. That’s fantastic stamina for any smartwatch, let alone one with a colour AMOLED display. Then there’s the aesthetics. The Samsung Gear S3 is available in a couple of flavours – the Classic and the Frontier – and both look stunning. The Frontier is a real looker, finished in smoky, gunmetal grey, with a burly rubber wristband (both large and small sizes are included in the box), butch knurled buttons, and an aggressively notched bezel that rotates with a light clicking action, just like on a dive watch.

The difference is that this bezel isn’t simply for adornment or timing purposes; it’s part of the fabric of the way the watch works. Spin it and the watch face whirls away to reveal a galaxy of different notifications and widget screens. It’s also used to scroll through items in lists and alter settings, depending on whereabouts in the UI you fi nd yourself. The Gear S3 watch still has a responsive touchscreen, but I found myself using the bezel whenever possible because it leaves the screen free for reading. The 1.3in panel has a resolution of 360 x 360, and it’s topped with Corning’s wearable-specific scratch- and shatter-resistant Gorilla Glass SR+. It’s comfortably readable in most conditions at the default setting of seven and, handily, it automatically dims in low-light conditions, so it won’t annoy everyone in the cinema when you check the time. The problem with the Samsung Gear S3 is that it’s a bit beefy. At 46 x 12.9 x 49mm (including the lugs), it’s thicker than most smartphones, and I found that with some shirts it wouldn’t slip under the cuf s comfortably. If you have more slender wrists, you may prefer to stick with the Gear S2.

But, the Samsung Gear S3 isn’t properly waterproof like the Apple Watch Series 2; it’s water-resistant and rated to the IP68 standard. This means that, although the watch can be submerged to a depth of 1.5m in freshwater for up to 30 minutes, you can’t take it for a swim. That sets the Samsung Gear S3 at an immediate disadvantage to the Apple Watch Series 2, which has a decent swim-tracking mode in addition to GPS and heart-rate monitoring. But the Samsung hits back with excellent automatic tracking and stats-packed activity monitoring. Walk briskly for a few minutes and the watch will quickly pick that up and log it as an activity. The same happens if you take it for a run and forget to manually hit start. It will also auto-pause when you stop to cross the road, and it reports a rich bank of data to your phone once you’re done, from the usual average speed, distance and average heart-rate data to the more unusual average and maximum cadence.

It all feeds into the S Health app on your phone, which syncs the data and presents it in a more digestible manner. If you’re familiar with the app through owning a Samsung phone, there will be no surprises here: the app presents your goals at the top of the main page with a couple of key stats on graphs beneath (steps and sleep by default), with specifi c data, from your stress levels through SpO2 and floors climbed, encapsulated in a series of square panels below that.Note that Gear watches are no longer limited to working with only Samsung phones. Although the Gear S3 runs Samsung’s Tizen wearables OS, you can pair it on any modern Android phone via the Samsung Gear app.http://webllena.com/smartwatch-review-samsung-gear-s3-superb-battery/

SuperClear is ViewSonic’s very own image enhancement technology and it helps to maintain colour consistency on the monitor dishing out greater colour presentation and consistency. This much is true as video games and movies look great on the ViewSonic VX2776-SMHD. It also comes with a 178° ultra-wide viewing angle so it doesn’t matter from which side you’re looking from, everything on the screen will still be consistent, clear and vivid. If that isn’t enough, the VX2776-SMHD also comes with flicker-free technology and a Blue Light Filter so you never have to worry about eye strains.http://webllena.com/blog/

Connect to Everything-Located on the back of the monitor on the left sits a HDMI port, VGA port and DisplayPort so you can connect the monitor to a whole list of devices. The VX2776-SMHD comes with dual integrated speakers but you can also pair it up with external speakers and subwoofers, giving your movies and game extra depth and detail.

You don’t have to worry about the bezel taking up viewing space as the VX2776-SMHD comes with an ultraslim panel. Its frameless design was built for one purpose – to daisy chain multiple monitors so you can have an immersive viewing experience, whether it’s for gaming or movies. It also comes with a triangular stand, which sadly, can only tilt slightly front or behind so it’s mostly maintaining its rigid stance. The triangular, brushed aluminium stand will look great on a desk while remaining minimalistic, giving you more space for other devices. Whether you’re in the mood to game, scare yourself silly with a horror movie, stalk your high school crush on Facebook or even try to get work done, theViewSonic VX2776-SMHDhas you covered in all aspects. It’s unique ViewMode feature offers ‘Game’, ‘Movie’, ‘Web’, ‘Text’ and ‘Mono’ viewing options. This allows you to pick the appropriate mode to have an optimised viewing experience.
